Review

The Perfect Ruin is one of those thrillers where you don’t like any of those characters. Being able to root for at least one character is crucial for me to enjoy a book.

You can imagine from the above that I didn’t love The Perfect ruin. However, it was a great revenge thriller, and I enjoyed how the story unfolded. We don’t know exactly what happened to Ivy or what Lola did, but we know Ivy’s state of mind.

This book was told in so many different ways. The first, second, and third-person could have made it very confusing to read, but it wasn’t. So hat’s off the author for tackling that! I enjoyed the way the story unfolded. We were given just enough information to keep us reading, but not spoiling anything and that final twist! I didn’t see that coming at all!

If you don’t mind not liking any of the characters, then this is a great thriller!
