Synopsis

Save me from my past.
Save me from my fear.
Save me from my pain.
Save me from myself.

The Stone brothers are the reason I can smile again. They are my only light in the drowning darkness. What started as friendship between them and me has become something more. They want me and I want them, too. But that won’t happen with my grief tearing me apart.

Will I succumb to my grief and let it destroy me? Or will my guys be able to save me?

Review

Find Me was one of my favorite books of the year, and while I enjoyed Save Me, it wasn’t quite up to Find Me’s standards.

There was some significant character development in this book, but I was expecting a little more action in this book, and it focused more on the guys and Shi than it did anything with Mr. X. I would have liked that part of the story to move forward a little more. I don’t often say this, but this one had too much romance and not enough action for my liking.
Also, Uncle Logan, what the actual hell? No spoilers, but what is he thinking? Although admittedly, his parts of the book were some of the more entertaining, they also seemed to come out of nowhere.

His actions did not make sense to me at all. But I still loved all of the guys, of course. I love how they all rally around Shi and try to protect her. I also enjoyed how they each serve a purpose for her, giving her the emotional support she needs and challenging her.

I did enjoy this one, but I hope the next book in the series moves the Mr. X plot along. This book seemed to set up some things, but there was no follow-through. Hoping we get more action in the next book.
