Synopsis

Emersyn Sharpe doesn’t belong in our world

In fact, the very last place she should be is with us. But someone is hurting her. We’ve all seen it.

We tried to ignore the warning signs. We tried to trust the people around her.

We tried to believe in her world.

Too late.

When she nearly died in front of us, we had to act.

We took her.

She doesn’t belong in our world, but I’ll be damned if someone lays a finger on her under my watch.

I’ll kill them first.

Now that she’s here… I don’t know if I can let her leave.

I’m Jasper Horan, anyone who tries to take her will have to go through me and my boys.

You’ve been warned.

Review

I enjoyed Savage Vandal, the characters were great, but there was one thing that kept me from loving this book – Why?

The whole time I was reading this book, I felt like I missed a huge chunk of the story.  I didn’t quite understand why the guys were there in the first place and then why they decided to keep Emersyn.  There were allusions to some higher up, but we don’t get a clear idea of what’s going on there, other than a few mentions here and there.

I loved the characters.  Emersyn is an interesting character, but we don’t know much about her.  I loved how tough she is, how she handles herself in various situations.   The dynamic between the guys is probably my favorite thing about the book.  Each of them has a role to play, and I am excited to see where this whole thing goes and exactly who ends up in the harem.

This book does end in a cliffhanger, so prepare yourself for that.
