Synopsis

There’s more to my brother’s murder than I realised…

Shadows in the halls, mysteries lurking around every corner.

Whoever killed him is covering their tracks well.

And now I’m walking a dangerous line between getting close to the four kings for information and wanting to crawl deeper under their skin for my own desires.

I can’t trust anyone.

I can’t let my guard down.

And I must keep the urges of my body separate from my heart.

But I’m starting to break all of my own rules.

I just hope I’m not falling for my brother’s killer.

Review

Dark Fae was great, but I loved learning even more about the characters in Savage Fae!

Dark Fae was a great first book. It set the stage very well for the mystery and the initial character introductions. This book was an excellent follow-up. The mystery starts to unfold, and certain suspects are being eliminated while others seem to be very guilty. While the plot moves along, the character development in this book is so great, especially Elise’s.

I love how Elise does not cower in the face of these very dominant alpha males. Instead, she takes what she wants from them but refuses to let them dictate to her. I also loved getting to know Ryder a little more in this book. He is my favorite of the guys, so it was nice to get a little more from him.

There are still the funny antics we expect in any book by the sisters, but I think this is toned down a little, which I prefer. I love their writing style, but I think sometimes it is a little too over the top!

I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book, not just with the mystery but with Elise and her boys as well!
