Review
Dark Notes feeds all of my kinks, dom, age gap, student teacher! I mean this book was everything I wanted!
Ivory was such an amazing character, she had a hard life, and many people in her situation would have just given up. She excelled. I felt sorry for her, but I also respected her immensely. Emeric, what can I say about Emeric? Dark, tortured, and protective, he was such a great character. It was easy to see why Ivory would be attracted to him, even given her past. These two characters were explosive together, and I loved every minute of it.
While I did love the characters, I also loved the story. It’s a little bit on the darker side, though not the darkest book I’ve read. It was nice to see someone take care of Ivory for once and see her for more than her looks, though I am sure her looks did have something to do with Ermeric’s attraction. I enjoyed reading all the twists and turns in the book and especially how Ermeric diabolically handled all of them. The plot was very well-paced and so entertaining. I read this book in a night!
If the rest of this author’s books are anywhere near this good I can’t wait to read them!
