Review
This book was weird, not in a bad way, but it was strange. It sort of reminded me of like a 90’s witch movie like The Craft or something like that. The story was engaging and I really enjoyed the characters, but if you asked me to explain exactly what happened, I’m not sure that I could.
As I said, the story was good, and it really wasn’t that confusing until the end. There was quite a bit going on by the end. I enjoyed the characters and there was a certain level of female camaraderie that I really appreciated. There was also so not so veiled commentary on men and the way women are viewed in our society. I applaud authors who use fiction as a way to draw attention to social issues and there was certainly a lot of that in this book.
While the female characters in this book were wonderful, my favorite character was Grayson. Grayson who was sweet and kind and often apologizing for his sex. I really just loved him and wish he had been in the book just the tiniest bit more.
