There is something about a reformed playboy that is just satisfying to read about. When I was younger I remember reading historical romance and there was usually a line about how rakes always make the best husbands once you’ve tamed them. For me at least, it’s the idea that a man has finally found the woman he loves above all women and it is pretty darn satisfying to read. So here are some of my favorite playboys in romance

Lisa Kleypas is my favorite historical romance author, and Devil in Winter is my favorite of her books. I love Sebastian so much, and the way sweet and shy Evie brings him to his knees, quite literally at one point, is wonderful to read!
