Books I Meant to Read in 2020 but didn’t

Last week I posted my reading resolutions, and one of them was to read books that I own. I tried to do that last year, but well, I did not do a great job, so I am trying to do it again. Below are five books that I mean to read in 2020 but didn’t get to that I hope to get to this year.

DEV1AT3

DEV1AT3 by Jay Kristoff

I don’t know why I haven’t read this one yet. I loved LIFEL1K3, and I mean, it’s Jay Kristoff! I am planning to read this one no later than February of this year.

Escaping Destiny

Escaping Destiny by Amelia Hutchins

Another example of a series I started really enjoyed and yet, for some reason, did not continue. I have no excuse for this one. It is sitting on my kindle, ready for me to read. This year for sure!

The Cities of Dead

The Cities of Dead by Alys Arden

So I do have an excuse for this one, a feeble excuse, but still. I had listened to the first two and wanted to continue on audio. However, the audiobook is not out yet. So I suppose I will have to suck it up and read it.

girlfriend

The Girlfriend by Michelle Francis

Finally, one that isn’t part of a series. I bought this book because I had seen it on bookstagram and I love a good thriller. This is the year I’m going to read it.

one true love

One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I love Taylor Jenkins Reid and have areas just about every book she has written, so I don’t know how I let this one slip through.
