Let me start out by saying that I am an Amazon affiliate. That being said, I would never recommend something I didn’t truly believe in. I use and pay for my own Audible Escape account, and I love it.
Who is Audible Escape Good For?
If you like romance and enjoy audiobooks than this is for you. Personally, I love audiobooks, and you know I love romance. In fact, the majority of my Wednesday posts are books I’ve found and listened to on Audible Escape.
How Does it Work?
If you are a Kindle Unlimited member (which I am) the cost is $6.95 a month. (By the way, Kindle Unlimited is another awesome product that I also use and pay for myself. If you’d like to try it out for a month free you can sign up here). If you aren’t a Kindle Unlimted member, the cost is $12.95 a month.
If you have Kindle Unlimited, then Audible escape works just like that. You can download an unlimited number of titles from the Audible Escape library over the course of the month, but you can only borrow up to 10 at a time. You can remove a title from your library when you’re done listening, and then replace it with another one. You can also have the titles in your library for as long as you want. There is no time limit.
You use the audible app to listen to the books, you can use the app to search for books as well, but I actually prefer to use the website for that, as I feel like it is easier to navigate.

How do I pick what to listen to?
I am a weirdo, let’s get that out of the way. I personally prefer books that have either a male narrator or a male and a female. This is purely personal taste and not that I won’t listen to a book with only a female narrator but if I’m just browsing that is something that I look for. My favorite narrators are Sebastian York, Zachary Webber, Shane East, Christin Fox, Joe Arden and the most recent edition, Blake Richard. You can search by narrator too, which I love. You can browse by all sorts of categories, like romance category, character types and story theme. Some of my favorites in the Story Theme category are enemies to lovers and fake relationships.
There are pictures from the website, which as I mentioned I prefer. The app is not set up like this and if you are looking for a character type or trope vs a specific author or title, I would recommend checking out the website.
Recommendations:
As I mentioned all of my #dirtydaddieswednesday posts thus far have been books from audible escape, so to catch up on those you can go here. I am currently listening to Moonlight Sins and am very much enjoying it.
Other books available are: The Kiss Quotient The Bride Test To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before Anything You Can Do And so many more. If you have any questions or need more recommendations please don’t hesitate to reach out.
If you would like to try Audible Escape free for one month, you can sign up here.
I LOVE Audible. Having audiobooks on hand is so nice for chores and long drives. I heard about another audiobook platform that allows you to buy the audio books from your local store, but I can’t remember the name… 🙁
Oh interesting. If you remember it let me know!
