Review
I’ll be honest I wasn’t all that excited about the idea of Mercy. Reverse age gap and Dommes are not my favorite tropes.
I was so pleasantly surprised by Mercy. Beau annoyed me quite a bit in Praise, but he really proved himself in Mercy. Maggie was a mystery. She was on the sidelines on the previous three books, and I didn’t feel like I knew her. I enjoyed getting to know her in this book as well.
What I loved most about this book is how it took the stereotype of the Domme and changed it. Yes, some of the “traditional” dome things were there, but there was also so much more. I liked seeing Maggie nurture Beau and give him what he needed emotionally.
I loved reading about the relationship between Maggie and Beau. Every scene they shared had so much emotion; I just loved reading about these two characters. I really hope there are more Salacious players club stories!
