I feel like for some reason April tends to be a slower month for book releases in general, but there are still a ton of great romance releases coming out in April 2022. There are so many more than this coming out, but here are some that I am most excited about!
Just weeks away from ditching DC for greener pastures, Solange Pereira is roped into helping her wedding planner cousin on a random couple’s big day. It’s an easy gig… until she stumbles upon a situation that convinces her the pair isn’t meant to be. What’s a true-blue romantic to do? Crash the wedding, of course. And ensure the unsuspecting groom doesn’t make the biggest mistake of his life.
Dean Chapman had his future all mapped out. He was about to check off “start a family” and on track to “make partner” when his modern day marriage of convenience went up in smoke. Then he learns he might not land an assignment that could be his ticket to a promotion unless he has a significant other and, in a moment of panic, Dean claims to be in love with the woman who crashed his wedding. Oops.
Now Dean has a whole new item on his to-do list: beg Solange to be his pretend girlfriend. Solange feels a tiny bit bad about ruining Dean’s wedding, so she agrees to play along. Yet as they fake-date their way around town, what started as a performance for Dean’s colleagues turns into a connection that neither he nor Solange can deny. Their entire romance is a sham… there’s no way these polar opposites could fall in love for real, right?

Everyone’s for sale, including me. One moment I’m the forgotten daughter of one of the most wealthy families in the country, and the next I’m the blushing bride in an arranged marriage. My fate is sealed in my wedded union with a complete stranger.
In public, Perry Constantine is the life of the party. Easygoing. Adored. In private, he’s brooding. Dark. Angry. But so am I. It’s a contest of wills to see who will break in the bedroom first, and while I try to remain strong, I find myself craving the very man I swore to hate.

After a wild bet, gourmet grilled-cheese sandwich, and cuddle with a baby goat, Alexis Montgomery has had her world turned upside down. The cause: Daniel Grant, a ridiculously hot carpenter who’s ten years younger than her and as casual as they come—the complete opposite of sophisticated city-girl Alexis. And yet their chemistry is undeniable.
While her ultra-wealthy parents want her to carry on the family legacy of world-renowned surgeons, Alexis doesn’t need glory or fame. She’s fine with being a “mere” ER doctor. And every minute she spends with Daniel and the tight-knit town where he lives, she’s discovering just what’s really important. Yet letting their relationship become anything more than a short-term fling would mean turning her back on her family and giving up the opportunity to help thousands of people.
Bringing Daniel into her world is impossible, and yet she can’t just give up the joy she’s found with him either. With so many differences between them, how can Alexis possibly choose between her world and his?

My life is, to put this delicately, a hot mess right now. I’ve lost my job and my home all in one summer. To top it all off, I have a chronic illness and no health insurance.
Did I mention that the world now thinks I’m dating one of the Internet’s hottest stars—all because someone snapped a photo of us at our friend’s wedding? Seriously, guys? One dance, and now we’re in love? HA! Isn’t that funny? Weston King, famous YouTuber, would never date me. In fact, when given the chance six years ago, he moved two thousand miles away.
Dating Wes is off the table, but…is marrying him? He might just be the only one who can help me get my life together, and after getting hit with some really bad press, he needs me just as much.
Marrying Wes just might be the answer to my prayers, but it also opens the door to a whole mess of problems—a door I’d rather keep tightly shut.
The whole thing would probably be a huge mistake and end in disaster.
Should I just go with it?

I fell in love with my best friend’s dad when I was seventeen.
He seemed like some kind of heathen god, big enough to kill a man with his bare hands, tattooed with bright, bold images, and weathered by time and a short stint in prison.
Blind to the consequences, I made a mistake that ran him out of town and ruined his life.
Now, he’s back after all these years––hating me more than the day he left.
What he doesn’t know is that I’ve been working to atone for my sins.
I’ve infiltrated the Vancouver Triad that killed his wife.
Always my protector, he decides it’s not safe for me to be in this alone, so he resolves to get me out of the Triad and out of his hair for good.
